Sometimes the yetzer hara tricks you by
making you think you have committed a
grave sin, when there was no sin at all,
or at worst you have violated a humrah
( a sringency ). The intent is that you
should feel depressed, and thus be kept
from serving HaShem, because of your
depressed state.

Yes , this is a trick of the yetzer hara. Know that even if
there was a degree if sin, HaKB'H
will be more gratified if you
immediately do teshuva , and serve
Him with joy, rather than becoming
depressed.
